Education
Achievement in Motion (AIM) is a non-profit organization committed to empowering young individuals, particularly from disadvantaged populations. At AIM, we believe in igniting the potential within every young mind. Our mission is to empower youth through education, mentorship, and financial literacy. We’re not just teaching; we’re shaping futures—one student at a time.
Clinton and Renee Huggins are committed to mentoring and helping the youth in every way they see fit. Clinton has been teaching, coaching and mentoring for the last 25 years at the Army and Navy Academy. Renee has extensive experience in customer service, retail management and healthcare. We decided to start this non-profit because we noticed that more could be done to help our youth outside of school. Children need to be armed with the understanding of basic finances, and have the instillment of confidence through a mentor, which schools may not be able to provide. Through AIM, our mentorship program, financial literacy courses, tutoring services and 3 on 3 basketball league, we are empowering the youth with as many tools as possible in order to be successful in any and all endeavors. Having four kids of their own, the Huggins understand the value of arming children with the knowledge to become well-rounded individuals that further their community and society as a whole.
