Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to Celebrate New Retail Space at Euclid and Market
DIEGO—The community is invited to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the
grand opening of a new retail space located at 409 Euclid Avenue, San Diego, CA 92114, at
the corner of Euclid and Market. The event will take place on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from
10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
This milestone marks a key investment in the economic and cultural vibrancy of
Southeastern San Diego. The project was completed by GenProp, LLC, a San Diego-based
real estate investment and development firm known for its work in affordable housing and
multi-family construction.
The development was made possible through a collaborative effort with the Diamond
Business Improvement District (Diamond BID) and Councilmember Henry L. Foster III of
District 4. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to revitalizing commercial
corridors and creating more opportunities for small businesses to thrive in historically
under-resourced neighborhoods.
“This new retail space is a step toward economic empowerment for our community,” said
Councilmember Foster. “I’m proud to support projects that invest in local talent, create
jobs, and bring long-term vitality to District 4.”
The Diamond BID continues to play a vital role in supporting small business owners and
entrepreneurs across Southeastern San Diego by connecting them to resources, promoting
inclusive development, and advocating for equitable economic growth.
