DESCRIPTION:Back in Black Town Hall Tour\n \n\nIn an effort to elevate the conversation on the power of technology to help Black businesses scale and stay 'in the black' BIA is partnering with Google on the Black in the Black Tour. BIA will visit four cities (Macon\, GA\, Twin Cities\, MN\, San Diego\, CA and Philadelphia\, PA) to highlight business owners who have leveraged technology in various ways to survive and thrive through the COVID-19 pandemic. The town halls will also provide local entrepreneurs tactical tips and strategies so that they too might activate key platforms\, products and online tools to take their business to the next level\, build generational wealth and spur economic development!\n \n\nExamples may include "brick and mortar" retailers who adopted e-commerce tools to build their customer base or a professional service provider who utilized an online coaching platform to create an entirely new stream of revenue. The examples are endless.\n \n\nThe tour will also visit San Diego\, CA\, where We Tha Plug will host a town hall highlighting Black business owners who have leveraged technology in various ways to survive and thrive through the COVID-19 pandemic. The tour will feature live events that will provide local entrepreneurs tactical tips and strategies so that\, they too\, might activate key platforms\, products and online tools to take their business to the next level to build generational wealth and spur economic development!\n\n\n\nJoin us in a Town Hall & Networking Event that will be hosted by We Tha Plug/Google/Black Innovation Alliance on Sept 13th where they will share resources available to underserved communities to build the tech & innovation structure needed for Black Entrepreneurs in San Diego.
